Dishita Muliya
Dishita Muliya uses EFT (tapping) guided sessions to heal clients of trauma, PTSD, anxiety, anger, and other deep-rooted issues for which traditional therapy may not be effective.

Western District Health Service. Based at the Sunshine Campus in a busy neonatal service, with a tertiary maternity centre, 60 post-natal beds and a 26-cot unit. In this role I performed all aspects of the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Role, including intubations’, insertion of central lines, running complicated resuscitations’; investigating any newborns on the postnatal wards which may require specialist input and vitally, educating and counselling of parents. Additionally, I had my own weekly, half day, Nurse Practitioner-led clinic.
Scanmedics Pty Ltd. Employed as Clinical Manager/Educator for Australasia, for advanced neonatal products. This included invaluable experience in educating a broad range of medical, nursing, midwifery, research and allied health staff on bedside aEEG/EEG monitoring; newborn hearing screening; neonatal incubators; newborn phototherapy and targeted temperature management for neonates, paediatrics and adults. There was a high degree of research and education involved in this role, which I relished.
The Townsville Hospital, Townsville Employed as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) at The Townsville Hospital, Northern Queensland. This involved undertaking all elements of the Nurse Practitioner role, including the provision of (Medical) Middle Grade Neonatal support, in a busy tertiary neonatal medical and surgical service -with its own in-house retrieval service, utilising both rotary and fixed wing aircraft. Presenting regularly at Grand Rounds; national and international conferences; in addition to ad hoc, by the bedside knowledge-sharing, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust. Employed across two sites as an Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (ANNP), providing Middle Grade Neonatal support to obstetric services, with Consultant cover. This role provided a high degree of independence, autonomy, responsibility & again, education across a broad base.
Wexham Park Hospital NHS Trust, Slough Employed to undertake the Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Training at Southampton University. On completion of training employed as an ANNP in a small yet busy District General Hospital (DGH) NICU, with 5 intensive care cots, special care and transitional care nurseries.
Princess Margaret Hospital NHS Trust, Swindon, UK. Caring for sick neonates as a Staff Nurse in a DGH Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU).
Tayside University NHS Trust, Dundee, Scotland. Employed as a Staff Nurse in a busy Tertiary NICU.
Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne Employed as a Clinical Nurse Specialist on a large tertiary unit. Other duties included precepting, nurse education and Equipment Resource Coordinator for specialised NICU equipment.
Papua New Guinea, voluntary work conducted in the Lae SCBU.
